As we celebrate Advent at Antioch this year, we are looking to our community to bring the love of Jesus to people in tangible ways. Our focus is on Pillsbury Elementary here in Northeast Minneapolis, primarily through collecting winter clothing and financial resources to give to kids and families who need them.
We talked with Pillsbury’s principal, Ms. Skowronek to learn more about the students at Pillsbury. Our prayer is that these students and the staff at Pillsbury would not think we’re great for doing things to help, but rather that they would see the love of Jesus through what we do and would ultimately be drawn to Him.
